What is the Habeas Partner program?

The Habeas Partner program allows designated organizations to resell Habeas SafeListing services and Email Monitor to senders. Any company that sends email on behalf of others can now monitor and manage their email reputations to improve delivery and enhance the value of their offerings. Habeas' services for partners are specifically designed for organizations that provide email services, tools, or infrastructure -- including email service providers, independent software vendors, or Internet hosting companies. Habeas' partner services provide complete visibility and control over email delivery.

What are the features of the Habeas Partner program?

Features which are available to direct Habeas customers are available through the Habeas Partner program, including the Habeas SafeList and all components of Email Monitor: Delivery Monitor, Reputation Monitor, Feedback Monitor, SafeList Monitor and Content Check. Habeas makes this information available to its Partners through Data Subscription Services (DSS) which is an XML feed of Email Monitor data. Partners may then incorporate this data into their own existing applications, or they may design their own applications for handling DSS data.

What are the benefits of the Habeas Partner program?

With Habeas partner services, providers have everything at their fingertips to ensure they and their customers stay off industry blacklists, adhere to best practices, and achieve maximum delivery rates. Habeas services also can be used as part of a lead qualification program, so that providers know in advance the sending histories of potential clients, reducing time spent on unqualified senders. Furthermore, Habeas reputation services can be configured to work in concert with any business, either by direct integration with an existing service platform or by leveraging Habeas' own interface.

What is DSS?

DSS, Data Subscription Services, provides data access to the entire suite of Habeas reputation services, including Reputation Monitor, Content Check, Feedback Monitor, SafeList Monitor and Delivery Monitor. By providing DSS as an XML-based web service using a SOAP interface, Habeas enables a flexible query environment for senders' existing applications, portals and monitoring systems, based on each sender's reporting needs, including the option to integrate Habeas' DSS with senders' proprietary data. The data can be parsed for specific reporting, or it can be shared as raw data with customers. Habeas also provides sample PHP and Java code for standard web services implementations.

Is there a way to incorporate Email Monitor data into one of my own applications?

Email Monitor information may be delivered to Habeas Partners through Data Subscription Services (DSS) which is an XML feed of Email Monitor data. Partners may then use this data in their own applications. See the knowledge base entry on DSS for further information.

Does the Habeas Partner program support an environment with multiple IP addresses?

The Habeas Partner program supports environments with multiple IP addresses and includes mechanisms for mapping domains to IP addresses.

Does the Habeas Partner program support environments where different senders share the same IP address?

The Habeas Partner program supports environments where different senders share the same IP address.

Does the Habeas Partner program include a way to associate a domain with a specific shared IP address?

The Habeas Partner program includes mechanisms which permit associating a domain with one or more specific IP addresses, even if those IP addresses are shared with other senders.

What is a Tier 1 Partner?

A Tier 1 Partner has entered into an agreement with Habeas to resell Habeas products and services. Tier 1 Partners may create, manage, and assign services to both Tier 2 Partners and Tiered Senders.

What is a Tier 2 Partner?

A Tier 2 Partner is created by a Tier 1 Partner. Habeas has no direct contractual relationship with Tier 2 Partners, but its contracts with Tier 1 Partners require the Tier 1 Partner to apply Habeas standards and conditions to its Tier 2 Partners and Tiered Senders. A Tier 2 Partner usually has direct relationships with senders and introduces those senders to the Tier 1 Partner as part of a business arrangement. Tier 2 Partners also may create and manage Tiered Sender Accounts.

What is a Tiered Sender?

A Tiered Sender has been configured within the Habeas system by a Habeas Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner. The Tiered Sender typically is a customer of either a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner and receives Habeas services directly from the partner.

How do I configure a Tier 1 Partner account?

Please see Chapter 2 of the Habeas Email Monitor Partner Administrators Guide for information about how to configure a Tier 1 Partner Account.

How do I configure and manage a Tier 2 Partner or a Tiered Sender?

Please see Chapter 3 of the Habeas Email Monitor Partner Administrators Guide for information about how Tier 1 Partners may configure and manage Tier 2 Partners and Tiered Senders.

How does a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner manage IP address and domain assignment?

Please see Chapter 4 of the Habeas Email Monitor Partner Administrators Guide for information about managing IP address and domain assignment, including mapping a domain to one or more specific IP addresses, or multiple domains to a single IP address.

Can a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner grant access to different Habeas services for different Tiered Senders?

Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partners may grant access to different Habeas services for different Tiered Senders. However, the services a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner makes available is determined by the services configured for the Tier 1 or Tier 2 Partner. For example, a Tier 1 Partner may be configured to provide SafeList services to a Tier 2 Sender. The Tier 2 Sender may then make the service available to a Tiered Sender. If the Tier 1 Partner is not configured for the Habeas SafeList, then that service cannot be provided to related Tier 2 Partners or Tiered Senders.
