What Is Reputation Check?

Reputation Check is a free tool provided by Habeas which gives senders an overview of their email reputation. Reputation Check includes a review of the sender's email infrastructure, a check for the inclusion of the sender's IP addresses or domains on over 50 of the most widely accessed blocklists, as well as an evaluation of any SPF records that may be published!

What information do I need in order to complete the Reputation Check?

The most important information which is necessary in order to complete the Reputation Check form is the IP addresses and domain names from which email messages are sent. This information can be obtained from your IT department. The Reputation Check form also requests information about the monthly volume of email messages sent and the number of email addresses on your mailing list. In addition, the Reputation Check form asks whether messages are sent from an IP address used solely by your organization or if messages are sent from a shared IP address, for example, by an email service provider.

How long does it take for the Reputation Check to be returned?

The Reputation Check will be returned to the email address provided on the form within one business day.

Will completing the Reputation Check form cause me to be added to any mailing lists to receive promotional materials from Habeas?

The Reputation Check form includes an option which will add you to our mailing list to receive periodic emails from Habeas regarding email industry developments and Habeas news. However, this is optional, and if you elect not to receive any further communications from Habeas beyond the Reputation Check, Habeas will honor that request. By default, the option is set so that you do not receive any messages from Habeas, so action on your part is necessary in order to receive the newsletter.
