A summary of reputation-related problems is contained in the Exceptions Report. The Exceptions Report also specifies actions which can be taken in order to resolve a particular issue. The Exceptions Report can be displayed in several ways:
Additional information about any test or test result may be obtained by clicking on the name of the test.
Suggestions for resolving problems are provided in the Reputation Summary, the Exceptions Reports, and the SafeList Summary. The SafeList Summary may be viewed by clicking the "SafeList" button on the navigation bar.
Reputation Monitor monitors a sender's IP addresses and domain presences on over 50 Blacklists and scans for sending infrastructure problems such as Open Relays, invalid MX Records, broken reverse DNS records and more. Reputation Monitor also provides alerts which notify senders via email when their IP addresses and domains appear on a Blocklist.
The Email Monitor Dashboard includes a pane for Reputation Monitor. This pane provides a summary overview of Reputation Monitor results. Detailed Reputation Monitor results may be accessed by clicking the hyperlink consisting of an "i" within a circle which appears at the right edge of the title bar of the Reputation Monitor pane. A detailed Reputation Monitor view also may be obtained by clicking the Delivery Monitor button on the navigation bar which appears on each screen of all Email Monitor applications.
The Reputation Monitor report contains six columns: Listing, Type, Basis, Priority, Last Run and Status. The Listing column identifies the tested Blocklist or practice. The Type column shows whether a listing is related to a Blocklist or a practice. The Basis column shows whether the test is based on an IP address or a domain name. Listings may be assigned a severity level of low, medium or high, and the level is identified in the Priority column. The Last Run column provides the date on which the test last took place. Finally, the Status column shows if the listing is OK, or if it is in a failed or warning state. OK is indicated by a green button, warn by a yellow button, and fail by a red button.
"FYI" is another possible status; it is used in connection with lists published by Bonded Sender and ISIPP. "FYI" indicates that the list was checked, but no matches were found. An OK status is shown if a match is found.
Clicking on the Status button will open a window with additional details about the listing. The window includes a description of the list or practice at issue, and provides specific reasons for a particular status report.
Reputation Monitor checks all domains and IP addresses listed on the Email Monitor Dashboard.
