The appointment immediately strengthens Habeas' management team and further advances the key business objectives of the company in the areas of product innovation and development.

As Vice President of Engineering, Hunt will be responsible for the ongoing development of Habeas' product line. Hunt is a Silicon Valley technology veteran, having served as Vice President of Engineering, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Operations for several leading software companies. Prior to joining Habeas, Hunt was instrumental in founding or building four start-ups in the VPN, firewall and vulnerability assessment and application management sectors — with two of those companies being acquired for approximately $190 million each. Earlier in his career, Hunt also developed important product lines at Novell and has 12 patents to his credit.
